Welcome to Ani. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ani mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

The Services are operated by Ani.LLC ("Ani," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or otherwise using Ani, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age requirements applicable to your location to use Ani.

You may not use the Services if you are under the minimum age required to legally use the Services in your jurisdiction.

If you are between the applicable minimum age and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Ani only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

By using Ani, you represent that:

• You meet the applicable age requirements.

• You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

• The information you provide to Ani is accurate and not misleading.

• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Your Ani Account

Certain features of Ani may require you to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

You agree not to:

• Create an account using false or misleading information.

• Impersonate another person or organization.

• Create an account for someone else without authorization.

• Share your password or authentication credentials.

• Attempt to access another user's account.

• Create multiple accounts for the purpose of evading restrictions or enforcement actions.

You should notify Ani promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Using Ani

Ani provides a platform for users to discover, discuss, organize, rate, review, and share content relating to anime, manga, games, and other entertainment.

You may use Ani only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and our Community Guidelines.

You may not use Ani to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another person.

• Impersonate another person.

• Post fraudulent, deceptive, or intentionally misleading information.

• Upload malware, viruses, or other malicious software.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Ani or another user's account.

• Interfere with the operation or security of the Services.

• Scrape, crawl, or collect information from Ani through automated means without our permission.

• Circumvent technical restrictions or access controls.

• Use Ani to distribute spam or unsolicited commercial communications.

• Exploit the Services for purposes that are harmful to Ani or its users.

4. User Content

Ani allows users to submit, upload, post, publish, or otherwise make available content through the Services ("User Content").

User Content may include, for example:

• Profile information

• Reviews

• Ratings

• Comments

• Posts

• Images

• Videos

• Lists

• Recommendations

• Discussions

• Other material submitted through the Services

Your Ownership

You retain ownership of the intellectual property rights that you have in your User Content.

Ani does not claim ownership of your original User Content merely because you submit it to the Services.

License to Ani

When you submit User Content to Ani, you grant Ani a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, modify, adapt, and otherwise use your User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, promote, and provide the Services.

This license exists only for the purposes described above and does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Ani.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your User Content and grant Ani this license.

Public Content

You understand that User Content you intentionally make public may be viewed, shared, copied, or otherwise used by other users.

Deleting User Content from Ani may not immediately remove copies that have been cached, backed up, or independently saved by other users.

5. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Ani respects intellectual property rights.

You may not use Ani to knowingly upload or distribute content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

Ani may remove or restrict access to content that we reasonably believe violates applicable law, these Terms, or our policies.

If you believe content available through Ani infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright complaint through our designated reporting process.

Ani may take appropriate action, including removing or restricting access to allegedly infringing material and, where appropriate, terminating repeat infringers.

6. Anime, Manga, Games, and Third-Party Intellectual Property

Ani may reference, display, or provide information relating to anime, manga, video games, publishers, studios, characters, brands, and other third-party intellectual property.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, those third-party names, trademarks, characters, artwork, and other intellectual property belong to their respective owners.

Ani does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property merely because it is referenced or discussed on the Services.

7. Content Moderation

Ani may, but is not obligated to, review User Content.

We may remove, restrict, hide, or otherwise modify access to User Content that we believe:

• Violates these Terms.

• Violates our Community Guidelines.

• Violates applicable law.

• Creates a safety or security risk.

• Harms other users or the Services.

• Is fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.

We may take action against accounts that repeatedly violate our policies.

We do not guarantee that all inappropriate or unlawful content will be detected or removed.

8. Reports

Ani may provide tools that allow users to report content or accounts.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that Ani will remove the reported content or take a particular enforcement action.

Ani may consider the report, applicable law, our policies, and the circumstances surrounding the report when determining what action to take.

9. Availability of the Services

Ani may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

Features may be added, removed, changed, or temporarily unavailable.

We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may perform maintenance, updates, or other changes that temporarily affect availability.

10. Third-Party Services

Ani may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, services, or platforms.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Ani is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of third-party services.

11. Purchases and Paid Features

If Ani offers paid products, subscriptions, or other paid features, additional terms may apply.

Before completing a purchase, you will be provided with applicable pricing and material terms.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers or app stores.

Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google may be subject to the applicable app store's billing and cancellation rules.

12. Account Termination

You may stop using Ani at any time.

Ani may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that you:

• Violated these Terms.

• Violated our Community Guidelines.

• Engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

• Created a security or legal risk.

• Used the Services in a manner that could harm Ani or other users.

Where appropriate, Ani may provide notice before taking action. However, immediate action may be necessary when required to protect users, the Services, or Ani's legal rights.

13. Deletion of Your Account

You may request deletion of your account through available account settings or by contacting Ani.

Upon account deletion, we will handle your personal information and User Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Some information may be retained where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce agreements, or protect the rights and security of Ani and others.

Content previously shared publicly may also remain in other users' copies, screenshots, cached material, or backups for a reasonable period.

14. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ani provides the Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Ani does not guarantee that:

• The Services will meet your particular requirements.

• The Services will always be available.

• Information provided through the Services will always be accurate or complete.

• Content posted by users will be accurate, reliable, or appropriate.

• The Services will be free of errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities.

You are responsible for evaluating information obtained through Ani before relying upon it.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ani and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ani and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising out of:

• Your violation of these Terms.

• Your violation of applicable law.

• Your User Content.

• Your misuse of the Services.

• Your infringement of another person's rights.

17. Changes to These Terms

Ani may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to Ani and the jurisdiction in which Ani is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Any dispute-resolution provisions required by applicable law will remain applicable.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any other policies expressly incorporated into these Terms, constitute the agreement between you and Ani regarding your use of the Services.
